I was having the same issue and I didn't notice.
After updating the hostname of 2 of the affected machines, they started to send data.
For example, I have a server called "server1" on the enhance panel, so it worked by configuring:
- server1 -> alias/name on enhance panel
- server1 -> alias of the entry in the servers.txt file (ex. server1,root@1.1.1.1, not the IP address but the first part)
- server1 -> on the hostname and an entry in the /etc/hosts
After doing this and restarting the services, a couple of servers that had different hostnames started to work.
But I'm having issues with my backup server (with only the backup role). All of those places have the same hostname/alias but it doesn't seem to retrieve any usage data. Is this only for application servers?
