Hi,
I’d like to suggest a small improvement to the Edit Configuration Files section, which I believe could save several users from frustration (it has happened to me a few times already).
Currently, if you change the file type in the dropdown and don’t click “Load File”, it’s still possible to click “Save File”. The problem is that this can overwrite (or even clear) the contents of the previously opened file, without any warning.
My suggestion is quite simple:
Disable the “Save File” button until the new file has been loaded using “Load File”, or until valid changes are detected in the editor.
Alternatively, a small message could appear such as “Please load the file before saving”, or a visual warning could indicate when the selected file in the dropdown has not yet been loaded.
It’s a small change, but one that would greatly improve safety and confidence when editing configuration files directly in the panel.
