Permanent blocking of email sending [SPAM]

Monitor and block inboxes of domains hosted on the server that send more than 200 emails in 1 hour. The block will be permanent; the root user will need to remove the email from the list to authorize it to be sent again.

Add the option to adjust the number of emails sent per hour.

Add the option to individually adjust this limit for a specific inbox.

Currently, Enhance does not block emails permanently, only temporarily.

This feature has just been released in version 3.3.94.

If this proves difficult to implement, it would be helpful to at least receive emails alerting you to the number of emails sent per hour.

"Emailbox X has exceeded the 100-send limit per hour." This way, we can take action to prevent spam.

The ability to adjust the number of emails sent per hour is also available

Does it also apply to the external SMTP relay? If it detects it, it won’t allow the email to reach the external SMTP relay. I’m asking because if the email reaches the external SMTP, it’s counted or charged, so it would be highly beneficial if it didn’t reach the relay.

Yes, it applies to external SMTP relays. When the limit is reached, cPFence automatically suspends the email account before any mail reaches the relay, so no messages are counted or billed.

You’ll also get instant notifications via email and Slack. The email address stays blocked until you manually unblock it.
