cPFence already includes an LSTM-based machine learning model that helps reduce false positives and improve detection accuracy. It currently powers the malware detection module, with plans to expand it to other modules over time. This feature was introduced in version 3.3.97 on 26th November 2025.
We do plan to continue improving the model in the future, but our priority is to keep it lightweight, resource-efficient, and avoid unnecessary CPU overhead or performance impact on production servers.
