Website Monitoring Alerts working wrong

Today I catch an situation when monitoring didnt notify me that the website is down because the website was in a perpetual loading state and was not responding to anything.

It wasn't a WordPress site, and the problem was in the code, but I think you get the idea. I think if you can't get any response, it means the site is down.

Let me know if I'm wrong and don't know something.

cPFence currently checks sites using a simple curl request from the main control panel server. If it gets an HTTP 200 response, the site is marked as up.

So it’s normal for the monitor to see a 200 while the site is still stuck loading in the browser due to rapid changes that occur between checks. (every 5min)
